Boss of the Year

The Boss of the Year award is presented to the boss of an AVCA member who has shown outstanding support for volunteerism and has made it possible for their volunteer coordinator to do their best work.  The award recipient must be an Arkansas resident.  If you would like to nominate someone for 2009 please click here.

The 2008 Boss of the Year was awarded to Keith Vire, CEO of the Arkansas Support Network.  Keith has served as the CEO of ASN for 18 years and is responsible for the health of a 7.5 million dollar non-profit with over 300 employees.  As stated in his nomination, "Keith is passionate and caring towards out clients and employees.  He is fair, yet demands everyone he comes into contact with to reach for excellence."  Despite his demands as CEO, Keith is known for his open door policy and making himself available to employees both personally and professionally.  He is pictured below with his nominator, LaDonna and AVCA state president, Anthony McAdoo.
