Welcome to the Arkansas Volunteer Coordinators Association's (AVCA) website. As the president of the AVCA, I would like to welcome you and tell you about our organization. We have four (4) chapters throughout the State: Central Arkansas Chapter (Little Rock), West Central Arkansas Chapter (Hot Springs), Northwest Arkansas Chapter (Fayetteville), and River Valley (Ft. Smith). There are numerous Volunteer Coordinators who aid and direct thousands of volunteers. These volunteers work to make life better for the people of Arkansas. It is very impressive to see the number of people in this great state of Arkansas who volunteer to help others.
AVCA provides education, training and support as well as encouragement to Volunteer Coordinators across the state. Without them AVCA would not exist. We serve as a central facility for information about volunteerism and as a resource for our many coordinators. This is an organization that recognizes the importance of volunteerism.
If there is any way that we can be of assistance to you, please feel free to contact myself or any of the officers of AVCA. We are here to help. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact us.
